Who comes home

Some choose Calabria for the sea. We work with those who choose it because it's home.

Couples returning to marry in the village their grandparents left — from Boston, Sydney, Buenos Aires, or just from Milan and Zurich. People who want the grandmother in the front row, not just a beautiful backdrop.

We don't take couples to a venue: we bring them back to their village. We build heritage weddings: in the precise places of your roots, with your family's story at the center — not only the story of your love.

The signature

A heritage wedding done well is built in four movements.

01 Heritage Research

First we find your roots.

The exact village, not "near Cosenza" — San Sosti, or Cropalati, or Civita. We rebuild the family tree across at least three generations and find the house, if it still stands.

02 Rooting Day

Then we go back to the village.

A day in the village, two or three months before the wedding. The mayor, the parish, the house, the relatives found during the research, lunch in their homes. When the wedding day comes, you are no longer a visitor — you have already been welcomed.

03 The rite that mends

Then we build a ceremony that tells it.

A reading in dialect, a song of the village, a dish with its history printed on the menu, mortaretti at the church door. The details only those who live here know.

04 Bilingual mediation

Then we make sure everyone understands.

Bilingual celebrant, menus and welcome guide translated, mediation between the Calabrian family and the guests from abroad.

Without one of these four movements, it isn't a heritage wedding. It's just a wedding in Calabria.

The craft

The machine you never see.

The roots are Rosella's signature. Underneath is her craft: a heritage wedding has the numbers of an international event — dozens of vendors, guests from three continents, one date that has to work. She is the one holding it together.

Budget and contracts

One budget, managed by us: quotes compared line by line, contracts signed with every vendor, payments on a single calendar. No surprises three weeks before the date.

Vendors and venues

Site visits, selection and direction of venues, catering, flowers, music, photography. We work with people we know by name, not from a catalogue: we know who can handle a two-hundred-seat service and who can't.

Timeline and logistics

A schedule that runs from the paperwork to the cake. Documents for couples marrying from abroad, transfers, accommodation for guests landing in Lamezia from three different time zones, a plan B for every outdoor step.

Directing the day

The design of ceremony and reception, the coordination of every vendor, guests looked after in their own languages: Rosella directs it all. Problems get solved backstage: the couple hears about them afterwards, if at all.

You will hardly see any of it. You will see Rosella.
